Curly Hair Shampoo Deals

I like it better than regular shampoo but its not the miracle people claim.I have bleach blonde hair which is thick and very frizzy. I must admit if i use it as a leave in also it works much better but if i use it as just a shampoo and let my hair air dry its just as frizzy as if i had used any shampoo.I think one of the steps should also include using as a leave in and many more people who didnt like it would! I just ordered another bottle i want to try the lavender to see if that might work better than the fig as just a shampoo. Item shipped very fast!!!

I've used Redken products for the past twenty years -- first geared for my dry, coarse curly hair and for the past few years, the Color Extend products to lengthen the time between salon colorings. I've never used any other shampoo or conditioner for color treated hair, so I can't speak to a comparison. What I do know is that for my "not too gray yet" hair, the shampoo lets me get away with a salon coloring visit every four to six months or so. Even though the Redken product is expensive, it is less expensive in the long run than visiting the salon every month.

Not as advertised. I expected the previous jade version, but received the new wild cherry. The wild cherry does not work as well as the previous version.

I received this product about a month ago and have been hooked ever since. I'm currently deployed to the VERY dry desert of Iraq and this product has all but transformed my hair. My coarse textured hair is now soft, silky, and looks and feels healthier than it's ever been. The conditioner creates a light tingle as it sits and the scent is very pleasant as well. I will definitely purchase more of this item. It's worth the $28 price tag.

It works as well as the salon products shampoos and conditioners we've tried, at a much better price. It isn't a magic bullet (she still must use a frizz serum or spray), but it's a good product.

Warning to fans of Pureology -- the ingredients have changed dramatically since P & G purchased the company. The wonderful herbals are now way down on the list, and it's now harsh and smells like a cheaper product. It also takes more shampoo to get a lather. I know this because I keep a smaller old bottle to refill from the big size. I'm very disappointed to say: buyer beware.

Thanks to Crystal Rose Love & Gina Rivera of Hair's Talent, after trying this shampoo, I can never go back to anything else! It's pretty much like heaven in a bottle (and that goes for the entire line of Nigelle products that I have tried so far). This shampoo leaves my naturally coarse/dry hair feeling very soft and hydrated. I'm in love with the Nigelle line!

Curly Hair you have to love it, finally they have a shampoo and moisturizer that works.

You know how when you put shampoo in your hair you have to put conditioner so you could comb your hair? Not with this shampoo. The moment you put it in your hair you could take a comb and comb that hair without pulling. Hair is soft nurish and full of life. Plus, these product smell wonderful. Love them all!

I've used this for about a year now and it's fantastic. It doesn't leave a build up or do anything weird to your hair. (I had used one of the Garnier and one of the Tresemme shampoos and both of them dried my hair out over time.) It's expensive, but in this case you actually get what you pay for. My hair is just past my shoulders and I've been using the same 33.8 oz. bottle for 11 months. I use it sparingly and wash my hair about 5 times a week. I'd recommend the Be Curly conditioner and the curl creme, as well. I use all three daily and get lots of compliments. $60-$75 once a year really isn't that bad for great shampoo. I also dye my hair with a semi-permanent dye (Natural Instincts) and this shampoo is super gentle, leaving the color in good shape.

Okay, understand that I really hate my hair - always have...on a good day, it tends to do a kinky, dry impression of a Brillo pad, waving in the breeze. This Alterna shampoo made a surprising difference to my hair - at least as much as anything else I've ever tried. No, it's not a magic transformation into the hair of my dreams, but after only a week, my hair feels smoother, less dry with a better texture and much more of a tendency to stay where I put it. As someone who has tried nearly everything, I'm really impressed - definitely worth the price.

I love this shampoo! After using it for awhile I noticed my hair is more soft. Only need to use a quarter size amount because it's rich and thick. The smell is AMAZING, its not overpowering what so ever.

I have use this shampoo, conditioner and serum since getting the BKT and I have nothing but raves reviews. I am AA and after receiving this treatment going natural has been a breeze. I only wish they had a leave in conditioner and scalp balm. No more chemical perms and sulfate products for me.

i had no idea this product was formulated for curly or kinky hair when i bought it. i was looking for a shampoo without SLS or sodium to care for my brazilian keratin treated (BKT) hair. this poo does have metal chlorides which are technically salts used as surfectants, but no sodium. anyway --- my hair is slightly wavy and as i said, BKT. i absolutely love this poo. it took only one wash for me to get used to the no-suds and now i prefer the experience of washing without suds. suds now annoy me because i know they are stripping all the good stuff out of my hair. my skin even feels less dry now that i don't have sudsy shampoo dripping all over me in the shower. i'm not a cosmetologist and found this shampoo on my own -- so i can only speak from my own experience about using this with BKT. it maintained my treatment better than the coppola stuff I had been using and my hair is **incredibly** soft. i plan to continue to use this even after my BKT wears off. tl;dr: LOVE THIS STUFF!!!
